Committees
HOA Committees so that our homeowners may more actively participate as members of our HOA we have several committees available for people to be a part of. If you are a member of our community and interested in joining one of these committees please contact our Board of Directors Vice President, Josh Black.

Architectural Control Committee

The Architectural Control Committee is responsible for maintaining the architectural integrity and harmonious appearance of the community. Responsibilities include:

• Review all aspects of the architectural improvements.
• Help enforce that the design guidelines are being followed within the community.
• Render decisions around notify residents residents regarding the status of their requests follow up
on final inspections.
• Survey residents around service standards and recommendations.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is responsible for informing the community about what is going on throughout the HOA. Responsibilities include:

• Relay information from the Board to the community.
• Provide a channel for the other committees to communicate with the residents.
• Send out periodic newsletter with updates via physical mailings.
• To make use of HOA website, community email list, Facebook and physical mailings to achieve the objectives.

Community Watch Committee

The role of the Community Watch Committee is to advise the Board on matters pertaining to community security. Responsibilities include:

• Review all aspects of community safety and security.
• Develop a neighborhood crime watch program.
• Establish a relationship with the Mecklenburg County Police Department and local fire officials.

Landscape Committee

The role of the Landscape Committee is to advise the Board on matters pertaining to the landscape of the common grounds and entrances. Responsibilities include:

• Review of all aspects of the landscape maintenance.
• Monitor the performance of those responsible for the grounds.
• Assist with development of future or long range planning, request additional funds from the Board
for capital improvements.
• Survey residents around service standards and recommendations.

Nominations Committee

The Nominations Committee is responsible for receiving nominations for annual elections. Responsibilities include:

• Announcing annual election and methods by which to submit nominations for Board positions.
• Tabulate all nominations annual elections and ensure all necessary information has been submitted.
• Make community aware of nominees in a timely fashion for the annual elections.

Pool Committee

The Pool Committee is responsible for overseeing management of the community pool. Responsibilities include:

• Making recommendations to the Board concerning necessary equipment and products to make use of the pool more enjoyable and safe.
• Address concerns of appearance inside and around the pool area to the Board.
• Aid in coordination of opening and closing the pool on a daily and seasonal basis.

Service Committee

The Service Committee is responsible for dvising the board on matters pertaining to serving the special needs of elderly residents as well as those who are have restrictions with mobility. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting residents with getting transportation to and from doctors appointments or errands.
• Assist in serving the basic needs of residents who are restricted in terms of mobility.

Social Committee

The Social Committee is responsible for advising the board on matters pertaining to social events and programs. Responsibilities include:

• Review of all aspects of the social activities.
• Study and evaluate social needs of the community to determine the adequacy of social programs.
• Preparation of community newsletters.
