There will be a Budget Ratification on November 29, 2011, 6:00 pm at Back Creek Presbyterian Church. The 2012 budget is approved and adopted by the Board of Directors and shall be deemed ratified unless at the ratification, a majority of all the members

in the association rejects the budget. A quorum is not required. No other business will be conducted at the ratification.

The Townes community pool will be closing for the season September 19th at 7:00pm.  Please make sure to KEEP YOUR POOL FOB(s) for next year.  Replacement fobs are $25.00 each and should be acquired through Hawthorne Management Company.

The Townes at Old Stone Crossing Homeowners Association annual meeting will be held on August 24, 2011 at 6:30 P.M. at Back Creek Presbyterian Church at 1821 Back Creek Church Road Charlotte, NC 28213. The meeting will be located in the Fellowship Hall, in the back of the Church, through the double white doors.  The purpose of this meeting is to elect members to fill two positions on the Board of Directors open due to term expiration and to transact any business that may properly come before the Association.

The following is an update on Landscaping in the community:

We would first like to let you know that our landscaping day has been moved back to Tuesday.  Please keep your yard clear of trash cans, toys , chairs, etc…  The HOA is not responsible for any damage to personal property left in yards, nor is the HOA responsible to trim around items left in the yards.  Also, over the next several weeks shrubs are being trimmed.  Any trees that are banging against and growing into gutters or roofs are being trimmed back (clearing Home only) over the next several weeks.

It is very Important to keep grass watered.  It is most effective to water when the sun goes down.

In between these crazy storms, we have had some beautiful weather in the Townes this spring.  Last weekend I took advantage of the weather and enjoyed a picnic with my family in one of the landscaped common areas at the Townes.  There is a large grassy area that is easy walking distance from anywhere in the Townes at the corner of Stone Trail and Sidney Crest.  We also have the beautifully maintained pond just down the way from there.  So the next time the sun is shining and the birds are singing, take advantage, grab a blanket and some lunch and spend time in the community!

2011 AMENITIES RULES AND REGULATIONS (updated)

To obtain pool fobs please contact Hawthorne Management at 704-377-0114.

Each homeowner is given 1 Fob at no charge, 1 additional Fob may be purchased for $10. No home may have more than two fobs operating at one time. There will be a charge of $25 to replace all lost, stolen, misplaced, etc… fobs.

It is important that all lost or stolen fob’s are reported ASAP. Should you have any issues with your fob working or have lost it, you may either email us at Fob@TownesAtOldStone.com (please include in the email your address, name and phone number) or you can contact Hawthorne Management Company during normal business hours (9am-5pm Monday – Friday).
