Following are the nominations received to date for the upcoming Townes at Old Stone Crossing Annual Meeting. Please note, nominations may still be mailed in and taken from the floor at the Annual Meeting.
The Board of Directors would also like to announce there will be a Community Barbeque on August 1, 2010, beginning at noon, at the pool. Hamburgers, hotdogs, soft drinks and water will be provided.
If you have not picked up your new pool key yet or would like to place an order for a second key, please contact Hawthorne Management (704-377-0114). Your pool key from previous years will no longer work. Please be patient as we have to program in all requests for a second key once ordered.
The pool is open! The Townes at Old Stone Crossing now has a new access system for the pool. The new system utilizes electronic fobs. To pick-up your fob, please visit the pool this weekend either Saturday or Sunday morning between 9-11am. We appreciate all those who picked up their fobs this past weekend. We were experiencing some problems at the time, but have worked everything out. Your existing pool key will work until all kinks are ironed out with the new system to assure each resident has access to the pool.
We have made a number of changes in the way the HOA Board of Directors and committees communicate with the community. So, what do you think? We have this website, a Facebook page and have been utilizing blast emails. We want you to feel connected and informed. Are we doing good? Can you think of what we can do to do better? If so, shoot us an email at website@townesatoldstone.com. Let us know your thoughts and suggestions. We may not be able to do all of it, but would love to hear from you.
We hope you are taking full advantage of our communication tools. We are glad you have found our website. Please remember to sign-up your email address in the top right.
Are you doing some spring cleaning? Have some stuff to sell? Try out our classified section! We have spots, for cars, home items, services and miscellaneous. Check it out!
We are attempting to work with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department to start an active Neighborhood Watch group. If you are interested in participating, please take a quick moment to shoot an email to us at communitywatch@townesatoldstone.com to express your interest. We look forward to hearing back from you!
The Board of Directors would like to remind homeowners of the restrictions for posting for sale signs in the Townes community.
One sign of customary and reasonable dimensions, conforming to such reasonable standard as may be adopted by the Board, advertising a lot for sale or rent may be placed in the window of a unit and not in the yard.
