The Maintenance Department does routine inspections of property. Repairs and maintenance are happening continuously on property, however it is important that you report any exterior repairs needed to your property in a timely manner. Our vendors and contractors are on property doing repairs or maintenance by work order only from Hawthorne Management Company, and cannot respond to homeowners’ requests directly. These requests must be reported to Hawthorne Management Company. By reporting necessary repairs in a timely manner, we can avoid extra costs to the community for and damage that may be caused by unresolved maintenance issues. Thank you for your cooperation.
The Townes at Old Stone Crossing Board of Directors is proud to announce we have an opportunity to apply for a matching neighborhood grant from the City of Charlotte to build a community clubhouse. Building the clubhouse will enable us to reapply for up to $100,000 a year in grants from the city. These resources will provide a facility for us to conduct and provide funding for multiple events. Please come to the pool to hear a presentation from a City of Charlotte representative, Saturday June 11, 2011 at 10:00 AM.
We would like to remind all residents that The Townes parking policy is still in effect and is enforced on a continuous basis. Parking on all streets, curbs, sidewalks and grass is prohibited at all times. The various parking areas throughout the community (excluding large lots) are for guests of residents of The Townes and should not be used for regular use of homeowners additional vehicles. Overflow space is available at pool for homeowners’ vehicles.
As you know, the community has an insurance coverage for common areas in the community as well as certain coverage for the buildings. The Board of Directors is proud to announce that we have recently switched our policy to a new provider and have subsequentially lowered our annual premiums by a good amount while upping the policy coverage amount. Given our history of claims, we feel this will result in annual savings!
